2 Months Old!!!

Addison turned two months old on Monday! My how time is flying by!!! She is becoming more alert everyday. She is now awake for about 4 hours a day. She likes to have tummy time in her play yard, sometimes likes her swing and LOVES anything that vibrates on her butt! LOL!!!

We took our first trip away from home a few days ago. We went up to Mendocino and visited Brent & Cheryl -they rented a house up there. The weather was amazing and Addi Cakes did a great job in the car and away from home. Scott & Brent went Abalone diving, we BBQ'd and just hung out. Brook was mesmerized by baby Addison and wanted to hold her, feed her, do everything with her. As you can see in this picture - she is going to be a great babysitter one day!

Addison had her two month check up yesterday and got her second (and biggest thus far) round of immunizations. She was not a happy baby yesterday afternoon.... Anyways, she is gaining weight at an incredible rate. At her last doctor visit, 2 1/2 weeks ago, she was 5 pounds 8 ounces, last Friday she was 6 pounds 13.5 ounces and yesterday she was 7 pounds 8.5 ounces!!!! WOWEEE!!!! The doctor is very impressed with her weight gain and said if she keeps this up she will be right on track in the catching up department. Everything else is healthy and happy with her. We do have one other issue going on and she will be going to see a specialist in the next few weeks for that. We don't expect it to be a big issue.
