Growing like a weed!!!

Hello~ Addison is growing, growing, growing!!! She will be 8 weeks old on Wednesday! Can you believe how time has flown by? I can't!!! She was due last Saturday - such a trip to think about!

Things are moving right along and we are adjusting to parenthood quite well. We have had a few bumpy sleepless nights but nothing too horrible. It is pretty amazing to watch her gain weight. She is growing out of an outfit, or two, a day. She is now starting to fit into some of her Newborn size clothes mixed in with her Preemie sizes. I would say she is probably around 6 pounds now. She is starting to be awake more with each passing day. She also loves her play yard matt and looking at herself in the mirror.

We have been going out more and more. Last weekend we entered her into the Cutest Little Chick contest at the Butter & Eggs Day Parade in Petaluma. She was the youngest contestant.... Yesterday we went to the Sausalito Yacht Club for Opening Day on the Bay 2007. She was quite a hit (as she is everywhere we go)!!!

Our cat is starting to get more and more curious about baby girl. She now comes and sits with us while I am breastfeeding. Pretty funny stuff!

Next week is our two month check up and you know what that means..... SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS! Poor baby is going to be getting 7 of them!
