5 Months Old

Addison will be 5 months old in a few days and boy is she becoming quite the character! Her personality is really starting show. She is full of laughs, smiles, giggles and is very determined about rolling over whenever she is put down. She rolls herself over with no problem - the problem is when she gets to her stomach and her hand is stuck under her, then when she finally gets her hand out she is so frustrated she starts screaming. Which brings me to her temperament! She is a feisty one at that, she can go from 0 to 300 in about 2 seconds and with no warning! Hmmmmmm, wonder where that came from??? She is still waking about every 2 hours at night for feedings. This is getting very old and we are really looking forward to the day when she sleeps even 4 hours at a time. She is, however, doing very well sleeping in her crib.

We have had a fun and busy past month. We had our Aunt Mimi and her kids down from Portland, OR and we had our other cousin Taylor up from So Cal. We also had my Aunt Linda stop by on her way home from a camping trip up North. We had a weekend away in Yountville for Bridgette & Chris' wedding. Scott married them - so it was extra special! Christine and I took the kids to the fair a few weeks ago. Of course Addi couldn't go on the rides but it was a fun day hanging out. We celebrated Jennea's 22nd birthday with a family dinner... that was a nice day!

We are taking off for So Cal tomorrow and are very much looking forward to our week down there. Daddy will join us on the last leg of the trip. Then we come home and head up to Tahoe for a few days. As you can tell we are enjoying our summer.....
